Green champ

    Today I got my green belt at my grading in karate, I was suppose to get my green tag but I didn't, I'm so happy I got it.

Martin Mere

Yesterday we went to Martin Mere. We saw lots of different ducks it was good.
There are lots of different types of ducks, geese, swans and lots more.

Victorian waterworks

  On Saturday we went to a Victorian water works. It use to supply Leyland with water in the Victorian times. The pumping station and service reservoir were largely built in 1884. In 1884 clear water was flowing into Leyland, but there were still problems because the well water had come from an underground source, and it was very hard because it contained naturally occurring calcium minerals from the ground.

Bikeability

  In the last few days year 5 did bikeability, we all did well. I learn't to do a u turn, signal and to ride on the road more confidently. I thought it was really good I learn't lots in bikeability.

Battlefield live

    Sunday 13th October.

Today was my friend Alfie's birthday party.
We played Battlefield live it was me, Alfie, Shaylee Thomas and a
lot of other people. The two teams were Black Ops and
Camo, we had 5 matches I was on Black Ops.
Camo won 3 and Black Ops won 1, the last match was a free for
all.

   It was really good.

Promoted captain

  Sunday 13th October.

Today i got promoted to captain on Halo reach.
Now i have unlocked spartan 117s helmet and a gold visor
and lots more. My next grade is captain grade 1 which i am
looking forward to.

Southport AirShow

 On Saturday we went to the Southport Airshow. I really enjoyed it. We saw the Red Arrows, Blackcat, Spitfire, Seaking, Typhoon, Battle of Britain memorial flight and lots more. There was lots of Army stuff there too and I got to sit in an army truck. We also saw some Lego creations. My favorite was a space base.

My Summer Holiday

I had lots of fun during my summer holiday! We went to Norfolk for our holiday where I got to climb a rock wall, go on water rollerz, visited a dinosour park, went on the beach, had a horse and cart ride, swimming in the indoor pool and on the big water tunnel slide, and the entertainment at night was really good. Our favourite place to eat was the American Diner near the beach.

Lego mini figures series 11

The new series 11 of mini figures are out, so far I have got two, the Evil Mech and the Scarecrow. My dad has also got one which is the Welder.

Leyland Festival

 It was Leyland Festival the other weekend. Here are a few pictures of some of the things that were going on. It started with a procession through Leyland with lots of trucks and people dressed up, then it all went down the the local park.
  There they had really big kites flying, some big trucks to sit in and really big hot dogs :)

School Sports Day

Here are a few pictures taken from when we had our School Sports Day.
 Our team did ok on the day and came 3rd after races through the whole day from all the years. I did well in my races and even dad had a run, but didn't do as good as me :)

Visit To Rufford Old Hall

 Here are a few pictures of me and my family the day we went to visit Rufford Old Hall, it was not to far away to travel and we had great weather.
 The gardens were really nice and we got to see some old armor and swords.

Blackpool Zoo

   On Sunday we went to Blackpool Zoo. We saw dinosaurs and lots of animals. When it was dinner time we had a picnic and watched a sea-lion show. I saw 3 wolfs and they where very good. I played crazy golf and did a 9 hole game. :)

Formby Day Out

On Sunday we went to Formby. We had a picnic on the beach, played in the sand, had ice cream, and had a walk in the woods to look for red squirrels. ( We didn't see any squirrels though.)
  We had a great day out.

 I got three new series 9 lego mini figures this weekend.

 I have been waiting a long time to get the Battle Mech one, its my favourite :)  Series 10 is almost in the shops now!!

Dragon Trophy

  This weekend at my Dragons lesson, I got the student trophy! ;) The teacher said everyone worked really hard but I put in a little more effort into the class :)
 Next week I'm going in for my purple stripe grading..

Injustice on the ipad

  This is the latest game that I am playing on our ipad. Its called Injustice Gods Among Us, I'm doing ok and unlocking lots of great characters. One of my favorites is Green Lantern.

Want I'm reading

 I am reading some of the Beast Quest books at the moment as part of my school reading. I really like these books and there are loads!!! Each book has a least one monster to fight :)

Little Dragon's Trophy

  On Saturday at my karate lesson I got the trophy for best pupil! ;) 
I think this is the 7th time I have won this. Next week is grading for my green strip, wish me luck!  :)

Young Justice

This is my new favorite cartoon tv show, the Young Justice. I am watching all of series 1 at the moment which is great, and below is the trailer for series 2 which looks just as good.

Lego Chima is coming

Yes!! a new Lego theme is out, its called Chima, I don't know much about it yet but have two sets already :)  pictures to follow.
